Google Review Request Templates

Fill in your details and get a text, email or invoice note you can send to customers today. None of them offer a reward, because Google does not allow that.

When to send it

Send the request the same day as the job, while the work is fresh in the customer’s mind. Send it to every customer, not only the ones you think were happy. Google’s policy says businesses should not selectively ask for positive reviews, and a request that goes to everyone avoids the problem. Our answer to whether you are allowed to ask customers for reviews covers the rules in more detail.

What these templates leave out on purpose

  • Discounts, gifts, raffle entries or anything else offered in return. Google prohibits incentives for reviews.
  • Wording like “if you were happy with our work.” Asking only satisfied customers is also against Google’s policy.
  • A request to name a technician. PPC Land reports that Google’s April 2026 policy update banned reviews that name staff members and quota-based review requests.
  • Any pressure about the star rating.

Where to find your review link

The form needs your direct Google review link. How to Get Your Google Review Link shows you how to find it in a couple of minutes. Once reviews start coming in, reply to every one. How to Respond to Google Reviews has examples you can adapt.
